James Ervin

Retired Senior Police Officer James Ervin has passed away.  Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

The visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 16th, 2026 from 4-6 pm at Iles Westover Funeral Home at Hickman and Westover Blvd.  More information regarding services will be sent out as it becomes available.

James Ervin joined the ranks of the Des Moines Police Department in 1969 and served for 40 years.
